After reviewing the Legado (Legacy of Hispanic
Contributions For Our Children)
Curriculum, I believe it will represent an infusion of understanding for all
students in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
This new curriculum will serve as a vehicle to promote
cultural understanding while developing awareness to the Hispanic culture and
experiences. It allows an opportunity to provide an exciting, challenging
curriculum that will assist Miami-Dade County in foresting a mutual
understanding for its ever-growing multicultural population.
Attached you will find some suggestions to be considered in
the new curriculum. I will be honored to serve on the committee to review and
implement the Legado curriculum.
